In one way or another, a lot of us have been influenced by Hallyu, aka the Korean wave. Plenty of us have tried out the 10-step Korean skincare routine out of curiosity. Many of us used to head to K-BBQ places pre-lockdown. Our current pastimes include binge-watching on popular K-dramas. And the K-pop industry also finds a huge chunk of its fandoms in the Philippines.

As a result of our obsession with all things Korean, we're pretty sure we're not the only ones who have put South Korea at the very top of their travel bucket lists. We’ve seen all the pretty cafés and nakakatakam na Korean food in K-dramas, and we’d want to try them out firsthand. With all that’s been happening in the world, however, travel is restricted for the mean time for everyone’s safety.

As we stay at home to do our part in solving the pandemic, perhaps we could settle with virtually satisfying our wanderlust for now. We may not be able to hop on a plane and explore South Korea at the moment, but we could always live vicariously through travel vlogs posted by content creators online. If you’re curious about what it’s like to live in Seoul, which cafes are worth a visit, or what touristy things you can do around South Korea, check out these YouTubers’ vlogs:
