25 Branches Of This Restaurant Group Are Donating Proceeds To Taal Victims For A Day

Now's your chance to give back.

On January 28, The Standard Group's Yabu, Ippudo, and Elephant Grounds will donate the day's proceeds to the Taal Volcano's victims. Yep, that's 100 percent of the day's profits from all stores.

The proceeds will go toward medical aid, food, water, shelter, and other relief goods to support those affected. And, considering that The Standard Group has 25 stores all over Metro Manila, this will be a great help.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has issued an alert level 4 over Taal Volcano, and is warning of the possibility of a hazardous explosive eruption. As of today, ash continues to spew from the volcano—the strongest in the past few days.
