This Facebook Update Is Getting Us Excited To Change Our Profile Photos

Better brace yourselves for a lot of movement on Facebook soon, and by movement we mean animated images. Yesterday, the world's leading social networking site announced its plans of rolling out a looping video option for its profile pictures in the mobile app—which kind of reminds us of Snapchat, TBH, where you snap a video of yourself for your display image. (via MTV.com)

Anyway, aside from this one, you can also set a time frame (one day, one hour, etc.) for your profile photos in the future via the temporary profile photo option. That way, you can let your followers and friends know what you're up to or what you're thinking ATM. How cool is that?

Along with other features, Facebook is expected to roll out these new features soon. In their statement, the company expressed the reason behind these updates, saying that our profile pictures should allow us to express and introduce ourselves with our creativity. Expect a lot of changes on your profile soon, Candy Girls and Boys.
