ANIMATION
What: Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3
About what: Your favorite toys are back after more than a decade! This time, Woody and the gang take their journey to the next level when Andy prepares to leave home for college. Some of the toys find themselves in a day care center, where they encounter the rowdiest kids ever and evil toys who make their stay a living hell.
My thoughts: This is probably one of the most touching Pixar Animations I’ve ever seen—just like Up! The old toys have the same wit and some of the new toys were just too cute to ignore. It made me tear up twice during the movie. The ending couldn’t have been done better.

DRAMA
What: Summit Entertainment’s Letters to Juliet
About what: A story of finding new love and rekindling an old flame. When Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) traveled to Verona, she met a group of old ladies, who call themselves the secretaries of Juliet, would reply to the letters posted on Juliet's wall asking for love advice. Sophie finds herself answering a letter she found written 50 years ago and getting surprised seeing the lady who wrote the letter fly to Italy to find her true love.
My thoughts: This movie is for the people who believe in giving love a second chance. The movie took a long journey in finding the old lady’s true love, which made it a little unpredictable. The niece of the old lady who came with her to Italy was cute! Though I have a better ending in mind, it was indeed a touching story for the hopeless romantic.
