We Love Bea Alonzo
In high school, my biggest insecurities were:
My height and weight. I was insecure about my height because I was always at the end of the line. And even though I wasn’t fat at all, I was super conscious.
But eventually, I overcame them by:
Realizing that there shouldn’t be a need to impress people. When I turned 18, I realized my height was actually my edge in this industry, especially since I was discovered in a beauty contest.
The best decision I’ve ever made:
Getting into showbiz, because I was able to help my family. I love my family—that’s one of the similarities between me and my character, Betty (in I Love Betty La Fea). I also love how I have the power to make people happy.
I know I’m in love when:
I dream about that person.
I love to cook! I also like writing.
My no-fail stressbusters:
- Bikram Yoga
- Drinking coffee
- Going to the salon and spa
Three rules I live by:
- Always love!
- Follow your dreams.
- Have faith.
Three things teens shouldn’t worry about:
- Their figure
- Peer pressure
Five things that are more important than looks:
- A good heart
- Pure intentions
- Making memories
