In high school, my biggest insecurities were:
My height and weight. I was insecure about my height because I was always at the end of the line. And even though I wasn’t fat at all, I was super conscious.
But eventually, I overcame them by:
Realizing that there shouldn’t be a need to impress people. When I turned 18, I realized my height was actually my edge in this industry, especially since I was discovered in a beauty contest.
The best decision I’ve ever made:
Getting into showbiz, because I was able to help my family. I love my family—that’s one of the similarities between me and my character, Betty (in I Love Betty La Fea). I also love how I have the power to make people happy.
