This program offers paths in education, medical science, advertising, human resource, and a lot more. You’ll get to know different psychological theories, personality types, and more aspects of this discipline which require a lot of research, analysis, mathematics, and writing.

Communication Arts

Another “arts” program, Communication Arts focuses on the communication side of things so you’ll learn more about radio broadcasting, journalism, television production, public relations, and advertising. If you take this program, you’ll learn about how the media works and how it affects our society. From learning about different media forms in communication to creating tons of multimedia projects, you’ll mostly use your public speaking, writing, and creative skills for this program.

Interdisciplinary Studies 

Imagine a degree program that you can design and build on your own. Interdisciplinary Studies is the perfect program that can help maximize your potential and individuality. Your course of studies is designed by you and based on your interests and strengths. In Ateneo de Manila University, their program allows you to take classes from two disciplines of study of your choice like Computer Science and Literature. 

Another school that offers the program is Far Eastern University which integrates mainly the humanities and social sciences into its curriculum. The university allows you to pick one track from the program which includes Global Development and Sustainability, Philippine Art, Culture, and Society, and Urban Spaces and Transitions.

Humanities 

An ideal program for senior high school HUMSS strand graduates, Humanities covers anything in the humanistic disciplines such as Literature, History, Art, and Language. The program will develop your understanding of humanity across different fields by studying the human person, society, and culture. 

The University of Asia and the Pacific offers this course with specializations in Health Humanities and Creative Writing. While for Ateneo de Manila University, they offer the course in a similar layout to their Interdisciplinary Studies program but students are free to choose two Humanities disciplines to major in such as Creative Writing, History, Literature, and Information Design.
