With the Baywatch remake premiering soon, everyone's been talking about Zac Efron's shredded body, and rightfully so. But another High School Musical veteran deserves a little praise as well.
Vanessa Hudgens is on top of her fitness game, and we seriously cannot look away. See for yourself:
But this abs-olutely impressive physique is the result of a lot of hard work. Though she lived on junk food during her HSM days, Vanessa now sticks to a diet focused on high fats and low carbs.
Vanessa told Women's Health, "I eat a whole avocado a day. I need high fats. If I'm not getting enough, my whole body holds on to calories. We've been trained to think that fats are bad, but they're so good—a source of energy that keeps you going through the day."
Proving that she is still human and not Aphrodite incarnate, Vanessa does have cheat meals; the Coachella Queen loves pizza, pasta, and ramen!
When she needs to drop pounds she gained for roles, like when she played a pregnant woman in Gimme Shelter, Vanessa turns to soul cycle. She went as much as twice in one day, seven days a week: "Put me on a bike in a room with loud music, and I'm happy. It's like dancing without the stress of worrying if you look good." V added, "I tend to ride for the teachers. I'm such a performer. I love being in front, because I'll push myself harder."
