Everyone loves a good horror story, whether it's one that's been passed down from generation to generation or a creepy campus story that everyone knows and is practically a ~school legend~. When we were younger, however, we also got our share of creepy tales from True Philippine Ghost Stories, a series of books filled with short stories that were guaranteed to raise the hair on your arms!

Good news: According to PSICOM Publishing Inc., the *iconic* book series will finally be making a comeback this year, and they're looking for fresh entries! Interested in seeing your tale get published? Read on:

What are the requirements?

  • The stories submitted should follow the theme of the book: *True* Philippine Ghost Stories.
  • The length of the story should be between 800-2,000 words.
  • The story can be written in English, Tagalog, or Taglish. They should not have been previously published elsewhere, whether in part or full.

When is the deadline for submissions?

The deadline for submissions will be on June 30, 2023.

The print version of the book series gained a cult following in the early 2000s. It experienced a resurgence after digital copies were uploaded online during the COVID-19 lockdown.
