Today's gonna be a long day, and not in a stressful or uneventful kind of way. It's literally going to be a long day as Summer Solstice happened around noontime today.

According to the Philippine Atmoshpheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), "this is the time when the Sun attains its greatest declination of +23.5 degrees and passes directly overhead at noon for all observers at latitude 23.5 degrees North, which is known as the Tropic of Cancer.” In short, this means that the country will experience its shortest night and longest day today. Many understand it to be the mark of the first day of summer.

With 13 hours and 2 minutes of daylight, we came up with a list of things you can do to maximize your day today.

Watch three more episodes of K-Drama.

You know when you say "last episode na" but end up watching three more eps before finally stopping? Today, you can watch three more eps on top of your "last episode na" limit.

Sleep an extra hour!

Now you have a legit reason to hit the snooze button. Even if you sleep for an extra hour, it won't feel like you've missed out on something as you still have enough hours for the day.

Do something memorable.

It's not every day that you literally have a long day, so make the most out of it and do something memorable, whether it's finally talking to your crush or doing something—anything—crazy to remember the day by.
