We’ve seen a lot of people living on wheels, but this one is different. If you have read the story about the woman who has been living in a van for two years and completely left everything behind, this mom is the opposite.

Katrina Quisil bought a Suzuki DA62 Big Eye Van for P215,000 and spent P5,000 for the customization to make it look like a tiny home that she and her two kids live in. It has a room for them to sleep in and a mini kitchen where they can cook and eat. She usually showers at her brother’s apartment and she has this makeshift portable toilet inside her van.

As a single mom of two, Katrina has to do two jobs in order to provide for her family. She works in a pharmacy in the morning, and in a BPO at night, so she spends her weekdays in the city and travels on weekends to relax.
