Just like having mental health illness, people who have dyslexia also find it hard to open up to others about their condition. They are embarrassed to admit that they have a learning disability for fear of getting judged or called names.
Contrary to what many people think, having dyslexia isn't just as simple as not being able to read correctly. It's a lot more complicated than that. For example, did you know that some people who have it also find it difficult to read numbers? Whether it's as simple as entering a PIN or as complex as writing digits on an Excel spreadsheet, dealing with numerals can also be a bit of a struggle.
