At first glance, Nueva Ecija does not look like it has anything to offer when it comes to tourist destinations. The province is landlocked, which means it doesn't have any beaches. But if you take the chance to embark on the two to three-hour trip from Metro Manila, you'll discover an exquisite wonder of nature not known by many—the Minalungao National Park.
Hidden in the municipality of General Tinio, Minalungao National Park is one among the many protected areas in the Philippines. With tall limestone formations that border around the pristine Peñaranda River and a bustling ecosystem, the attraction is a real treat for nature lovers.
