The boys of the Candy editors' lives are sweet as Candy. How about you? What was the sweetest thing a guy did for you?
![]() | My guy surprised me one Valentine's with three dozen pink roses. :) It even came with a card that said "You are worth more than three dozen roses" :) —Steph, Art Director |

![]() | When I found out how much a dozen tulips (my favorite flower) cost, I told my guy not to buy me flowers for Valentine's day anymore since he already gave me the year before. I told him I'd rather spend the money on good food! So, he didn't buy me flowers. Instead, he made a dozen paper origami tulips using pink and green paper! He even wrote little notes inside the stems. :) :) —Angel, Assistant Features Editor |
![]() | My brother went away for college while I was a high school junior in Nueva Ecija, and I missed having him around the house. He came home from Manila one day with a mixed CD of songs he knew I'd like (we've always had pretty similar tastes in music), and I listened to it every day. It was very thoughtful of him. :) —Marla, Assistant Lifestyle Editor |
![]() | When I was in grade school, I had no notion of what Valentine's was supposed to be apart from the fact that boys gave girls flowers and chocolates. I wasn't interested in boys that way yet, so I didn't care. But one Valentine afternoon, I came home to my first three red roses from a boy—my favorite one, in fact. My Daddy! ![]() | Believe it or not, I rarely receive flowers. It's actually my weakness. One Valentine's Day, someone sent me flowers to our house before I left for the office. After lunch time, I saw 3 long stemmed roses on my desk. When I got home, I saw a bouquet of colorful Gerberas (I love Gerbera!) on my bed. When I read the card, I was surprised to find out that all the flowers sent to me that day were from my guy best bud! So sweet! :P —Roch, Web Staff Writer |
