Online shopping has advantages and disadvantages. But most of the time, getting all the stuff that you need with just a click can be a huge blessing. It’s very convenient especially at times like these when going out for leisure is prohibited.

According to Marketingdive.com, 75% of the Gen Z population prefers online shopping due to convenience. But are you curious about what Gen Z Pinoys ~really~ purchase from online shops?

Below, we ask some of our Candy Rookies:

For Marvin Del Barrio, a third-year Multimedia Arts student, he buys his skincare products on Nature's Basket PH and Shopee. According to him, he has often bought skincare products online even before the quarantine started, since the products that he uses are mostly produced in the province, so it's very convenient for him to buy it online than to look for it in the mall.

20-year-old Multimedia Arts student Rax Mercado currently buys his art materials on Shopee and Lazada. He also buys action figures on Facebook Marketplace for his toy collection, as well as indoor plants, ring light, and sunnies.

Rax prefers online shopping because of various reasons, like the cashless transactions, and being able to see reviews of the products to know if it's legit. He's also able to track his orders, and finds using apps accessible. According to Rax, his family likes online shopping and that influenced him to do the same.
