Calling all BLINKs! A new BLACKPINK inspired café in Davao City, SQUARE ONE, opened its doors in March 18, 2021. Named after BLACKPINK’s first-ever debut album, the store also debuted its way to the streets of Davaoeños.
Their sneak peeks on Twitter made Filipino BLINKs excited as they gush over at the overall interior and concept of the place, most notably how they accurately recreated the iconic door of the BLACKPINK House!
What to expect inside?
Aside from flawlessly tailoring their shop to the BLACKPINK aesthetic for fans to take pictures with, SQUARE ONE also caters to various cuisines from Korean, Thai, to Filipino dishes. The team also provides customers the option to buy BLACKPINK merchandise! To partner with these, since the café’s owners are also K-pop fans themselves, they also host fan events, such as anniversaries, birthdays, and 'comeback' celebrations for K-pop fans.
Inclusive to all K-pop fandoms
SQUARE ONE does not only hold events for BLACKPINK fans, but they are also open for reservations for any fandoms, both K-pop and non-K-pop. They described their café as a place where people can express their love for their idols, a home where they can gather and share their same interests freely.
