Skin Screams
Gravity: Broken teacup

They say confidence is the best accessory. Cliché, yet true. But how can you be comfortable in your own skin if your forehead has turned into Zitville, or if a huge purple bruise shows up on your knee?

Conquer it: Another cliché: prevention is better than cure. On the weeks leading to the prom, make it a point to get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, eat lots of fruits and veggies, and pamper yourself with a facial treatment. For athletic girls, wear protective padding to avoid those bruises. If luck refuses to smile on you, though, and you still end up with zits or bruises, resist the urge to wear a mask or trade in your cocktail dress for a floor-length gown that’ll have you tripping all over the place. Don’t fret! It’s true what they say about pimples: the more you worry about them, the more time it’ll take for them to disappear. When all else fails, the wonders of makeup will come to the rescue——that’s what concealer is for.
