Prom, Period.
Gravity: Broken teacup
We all know we can’t be as carefree as those girls in the sanitary napkin ads——dancing the night away and cozying up to their crushes, even at that time of the month. But wait, why can’t we be as carefree as those girls?

Conquer it: There are several extra-long, extra-absorbent pads available in the market, and they also come in ultra-thin varieties, so you won’t have to worry about the sheerness of your dress’ fabric. A tampon is another option, although it wouldn’t be advisable to wear one on prom night if you’re trying it for the first time. Go ahead, dance the night away and cozy up to that crush of yours, but to be sure that there will be no embarrassing stains, make frequent trips to the ladies’ room to check, and remember to bring extra pads (and underwear). Bring some anyway if you haven’t gotten your period for that month yet, just in case.
