Potterheads, dressed in their robes and all sorts of talismans from the world of Hogwarts, united today at the Glorietta 1 National Bookstore for the launch of the much anticipated 8th book of the beloved Harry Potter series. Seconds before exactly 7:01 am, the whole store erupted into a countdown which was simultaneous with hundreds of other book stores launching the book all around the world. When the countdown finally ended, bursts of confetti flew everywhere and the first box of books was opened. Fans quickly purchased their copies and immediately began devouring the book.

Written in the form of the play it is based from, the latest installment to the Harry Potter series begins 19 years after the end of Voldemort’s reign of terror. Harry and the gang are back to face an enemy of the past; one they cannot seem to escape. However, they do not face this challenge alone as Albus Potter and Scorpious Malfoy have their own stories to tell and get entangled in the evil Harry faces. In this new tale, fall in love again with the world of wizards and witches, young and old, of good and evil, and of the magic that never fails to leave you breathless.
