Yay, This Red Velvet Crinkle Recipe Does *Not* Require An Oven

Let’s be real, red velvet crinkles are just regular chocolate crinkles with red food coloring. But that doesn’t stop us from munching on them! The cream cheese filling makes every bite extra special. Nakaka-miss!

If you’re a fan of red velvet crinkles, you might have already tried DIY-ing it at some point during quarantine. Not everyone has ovens in their kitchens though, but thankfully, there’s a red velvet crinkle recipe that doesn’t require such equipment!

YouTube channel Kusina Chef shared a no-bake red velvet crinkle recipe and it’s actually pretty genius! Instead of baking in the oven, the recipe will only require you to fry the cookie mixture over low heat. All you’ll need is a frying pan and a stove. 

For the actual cookie, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • White sugar
  • Powdered sugar
  • Butter or margarine
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Red food coloring

For the cream cheese filling, you’ll need the following ingredients:
