Prom Flashback

What was your prom like?
photos by Dakila Angeles (Mia and Roch), Ocs Alvarez (Steph, Angel, and Margaux), and Pat Dy

The Candy eds remember what their prom was like. What was yours like?

miac.jpg Wonderful! My date was as excited as I was, and he loved to dance. I'm glad I went with someone more outgoing than I am.ü —Mia, Editor in Chief
mimi.jpg I was a bundle of nerves right before the prom, but my date was my friend (and a real gentleman) so it was quite easy to feel at ease with him. There was none of that awkward first meeting small talk, so the night consisted of lots of laughing and dancing with him and my barkada. :)—Mimi, Managing Editor
jennie.jpg It was nice, but kind of un-romantic because we had it in our school's covered court. —Jennie, Beauty Editor
angel.jpg My prom theme was "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Though it was only held at the school gym, the decorations were beautiful and the atmosphere was very romantic. The path to the gym, near the fish pond, was lighted on both sides with torches so it really made me feel like a princess walking with her prince. The whole night was a blast! I bonded with my date and my friends, took lots of pictures, and danced the night away! :)—Angel, Assistant Features Editor
marla.jpg I went to a co-ed school and didn't have an official date so my huge barkada just spent the night together. I was junior class president and joked about stealing the prom queen trophy during rehearsals for the program, but got the shock of my life when it ended up in my hands on prom night! :) Marla, Assistant Lifestyle Editor
macy.jpg My prom (also known as Juniors' Night in our school) was perfect. It didn't matter that we had it our school up in Antipolo. I went with a boy I was crushing on, spent all night with my friends (we stayed at my kabarkada's house after the prom), and even got awarded Best Dressed that night! —Macy, Web and Mobile Producer
roch.jpg My prom night was great. My date was one of my closest boy buds and he picked me up from my house to Manila Hotel. We super enjoyed the moment and spent the rest of the night hanging out with our friends. :D—Roch, Web and Mobile Producer
