It’s officially ~*concert season*~, you guys! Now that the events scene is slowly getting back on its feet, more and more artists have been announcing their shows in the country. Even better, there’s a bigger concert venue that’s slowly gaining popularity for artists who want to perform for a larger audience: the Philippine Arena!

The Philippine Arena, located in Santa Maria, Bulacan, is dubbed as the “world’s largest arena” for its 55,000 seating capacity. ICYDK, some of our fave artists like SEVENTEEN, Harry Styles, and Katy Perry have already performed here!

If you’re planning to attend a concert at the venue but you aren’t sure about what to expect, we gotchu! Ahead, we round up 7 things you’ll definitely need to keep in mind if you’ll be traveling from the Metro to the Philippine Arena.

The Ultimate Guide to Watching Concerts at the Philippine Arena

1. It’s better to book a private transpo days before the event.

Because there will be thousands of attendees at the venue, expect that you’ll most likely have *a lot* of competition in commuting going to and from the arena. It’s best to book a ride days before the event to ensure that you’ll have a hassle-free experience!

If you’ll be bringing your own car, however, make sure to park near the exit because once the show ends, it can take as long as two hours just to get out of the arena’s parking lot. Yup, true story!

2. Eat adequate meals before the concert.

Okay, sure, there *are* food stalls inside the arena if you ever get hungry. But if you don’t want to endure long lines, make sure you’ve eaten a full meal before you arrive at the venue so you’ll have the ~*energy*~ to have the best of fun!

3. You can’t bring water bottles inside the venue.

ICYDK, only disposable and plastic water bottles are allowed inside the arena, so you’ll have to leave your trusty thermal flasks at home or in your car. Don’t worry, though! You can purchase bottled water from food stalls near the entrance.

4. Bring cash.

If you’re planning to buy food, drinks, or merch from the stalls inside the arena, don’t forget to bring enough cash as not all of the kiosks accept online payments. According to concert-goers, there aren't any ATMs nearby either. It’s always best to come prepared!

5. Minors must bring a signed waiver from their parents or guardians.

While it highly depends on the event organizers, most concerts at the Philippine Arena require signed waivers to be submitted at the entrance gate if you’re a minor. This must be accomplished by a parent or guardian before they let you into the venue!

6. Don’t forget your powerbank!

Of course, you’ll *surely* be recording every iconic moment of the concert (you know, for the mems), which is why you better have a fully charged powerbank at your disposal if you ever run out of battery. Thank us later!

7. Just bring things you *actually* need.

Attendees will only be allowed to bring small to medium-sized bags inside the venue, so keep your essentials *only*, like your phone, wallet, powerbank, and the like. This way, you'll also be able to move and ~*groove*~ at the concert!

8. Have the best time!

Don’t be afraid to jam to your favorite songs and scream your heart out. Remember: You’re here to have *FUN*, so get away from all the drama and let yourself get lost in the music!
