Pentagon Officially Releases Footage Of UFOs Taken By US Navy

In case you've been wondering, it now seems that the previously leaked videos of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are legit as can be. In aĀ press release dated April 27, 2020, the United States Department of Defense, also referred to byĀ the public as the Pentagon, officially classifiedĀ the "aerial phenomena" in three leaked videos shot by the U.S. Navy as "unidentified."Ā
In the videos, an oblong-shapedĀ entityĀ was filmed by a U.S. Navy aircraft dashing above water at high speed. While the three videos--oneĀ of whichĀ was taken inĀ November 2004 while the other two in November 2015--have only been authorized for release by the Pentagon recently, they have beenĀ leaked in 2007 and 2017 and consequently sparked plenty of speculation aboutĀ UFOs. Ā
The Pentagon has now officially released the said footage to "clear up any misconceptions by the public" about their authenticity. In 2017, the Pentagon alsoĀ confirmed the existence of a $22 million-funded program which looks into reports of UFOs. According to a report by the New York Times, the program began in 2007 as part of theĀ Defense Intelligence AgencyĀ and was only funded and operational until 2012.
