Karaoke or videoke has always been a big part of Filipino culture that transcends the division in age brackets and social class. When you combine our love for hogging the mic in every (drunken) sing-along session with a more recent obsession of Pinoys with all things Korean culture—specifically Korean pop (K-pop), a showdown is bound to happen. If you want to join in on the fun,  Paik's Coffee and Bakery at Glorietta 1 in Makati holds Street Videoke every Saturday night, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Paik's Coffee and Bakery introduces this Saturday event for their customers to experience Korean culture beyond its cups of coffee. If you've ever watched Korean dramas like Hospital Playlist or Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo, you'd know that Koreans love videoke as much as Pinoys do.

When it comes to K-pop—well, it's pretty obvious that there's a huge market in the country. If you do decide to go to Paik's Street Videoke, there is a chance for you to meet other people who have the same ults, biases, and bias wreckers as you. Maybe you and your newfound friends can can belt your lungs out to your favorite K-pop song.

Here's a look at Paik's Coffee and Bakery's previous Street Videoke:
