If you haven't already heard, urban teen brand retailer JagThug has brought in two of its endorsers for this weekend's World Dance Off at the Mall of Asia Arena. Chachi Gonzales is part of the I.Am.Me crew, the Season 6 champion of America's Best Dance Crew and it's second time here in Manila. Misha Gabriel might look familiar to you because of Step Up 3: All In and Step Up 4: Revolution. But did you know that he also choreographed for Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds music video? And if that's not enough to wow you, Misha was also one of the dancers chosen by Michael Jackson for This Is It. KIND. OF. A. BIG. DEAL.
Some lucky participants were able to join Chachi and Misha for a dance workshop at Megamall yesterday. If you're raring to learn from these two dance pros, you still have today to join the workshop! There are 2 timeslots, just check out the JagThug website for more details on how you can sign up.
We spoke to the World Dance Off judges and asked them about what they were expecting from this year's competition. Misha shares that two of his favorite dancers are actually Filipino like Shaun Evaristo (who has worked with Justin Bieber, BIGBANG, 2NE1 among others) and Lyle Beniga (who has worked with Christina Aguilera, Hilary Duff, and is on Justin Timberlake's 20/20 tour now). So they're super excited to see the groups competing this weekend.
