How about you? How do you take care of your hair?

steph.jpg I take care of my hair using shampoo and conditioner that suits my hair type (I’m currently using Herbal Essenses’ Dangerously Straight shampoo and conditioner). I also use a hair mask once a week. I also try to avoid using a blow drier or hair iron so my hair won’t dry out. :) —Steph, Art Director
mimi.jpg I let my tresses dry using an electric fan instead of a blow-dryer. The heat from the latter can dry out your hair, making it brittle and more prone to breakage. —Mimi, Managing Editor
angel.jpg I try to get a trim and a hot oil every one to two months to keep my curls healthy and to prevent my locks from drying up. —Angel, Associate Features Editor
marla.jpg I got highlights a few months ago, so I condition religiously and make sure I use a color care serum every day. My hair also grows really fast, so I get a trim every other month—Jun Sollano of Indigo Salon (Corinthian Hills) is the best at layering and cutting bangs! —Marla, Associate Lifestyle Editor
macy.jpg Ever since I read about it on Maria's blog Lulu Letty, I've been applying conditioner on my hair's ends before shampooing my roots. I also work in a leave-in conditioner into my hair before drying it. So far this technique has helped keep my hair from drying out. —Macy, Web Managing Editor
roch.jpg I used to iron my hair a lot but then I noticed my hair started getting brittle and dry. Since then, I only use hair iron when needed and I try to go to the salon to get a hair spa as often as I can. :) —Roch, Web Staff Writer
