6 Makati Heritage Walking Tours You Can Join For Free

When it comes to heritage walks in the city, many people think of Manila and the surrounding environs of Intramuros. But now, the wealthiest city in the Philippines is now offering a similar tour package for free, according to Makati city’s Facebook page.

Makati city government has organized daily heritage walks from Tuesday to Sunday that will take you to various historical sites, museums, and galleries in the city. Some of the sites are Alphonsus Mary de Ligouri Church’s Garden Way of the Crosss, Poblacion and the Central Business District as well as Salcedo and Legaspi Market.

Below is the complete schedule of Makati’s free walking tours, as posted on the city’s Facebook page.

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m.

St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Church – Garden Way of the Cross

The stations of the cross feature masterpieces of prominent sculptors of contemporary Philippine art. Meeting point: Glorietta 2 (entrance)

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 4 p.m.

Poblacion Pub Crawl

Discover places where you can hang out, dine and unwind in our heritage district.

Wednesday, 10 a.m.

Legazpi Market
