According to the page owner, Rose Linag, the idea was inspired by a video she saw on Tiktok. And as a *foodie* (like each one of us), she tried the recipe right away.

"Yes my motto kasi is if favorite mo 'yung isang dish, dapat alam mo kung pano [siya] lutuin. I'm curious kasi most of the time kung pa'no lutuin 'yung mga nakikita ko online then if kaya ko, tina-try ko."

To make it, she just used staple ingredients that you can easily find in your kitchen. A quick-melting cheese or any cheese will do, and cooked rice. Of course, what's essential to order is the Jollibee Chickenjoy and gravy. The chicken can be the original or spicy variant, whichever you prefer.

The preparation is very simple, she cut the chicken into pieces and removed the bones. Then to assemble, she put the cooked rice in a baking pan, added the chicken on top of the rice, spread the gravy on the chicken, then to finish it off, she put the cheese on top before baking it in the oven until the cheese melted. Easy enough, right?

But if you don't have an oven, don't worry! As seen on Tiktok, you can still make baked rice, but bibimbap style! You just need any type of cooking pot or pan, then put it on a stove, add a bit of oil then mix the cooked rice. After mixing it, flatten it then add the chicken, gravy, and cheese on top. Cover the pot until the cheese melts. And voila, you finally have a Jollibee Baked Rice that you can share with your family and friends!
