Whether you're on the hunt for a full-time position or a part-time gig, looking for jobs has proven extra challenging given the restrictions brought about by the pandemic. Still, this doesn't stop people from finding ways to get extra income, even for college students who want to earn allowance during their extra time at home. From basic typing jobs to transcription stints, plenty of sidelines welcome undergraduates as applicants, as long as they're diligent enough to put in the necessary work.
One such opportunity is an upcoming online event called Job to Cart, organized by leading online job board Jobstreet. Job to Cart, which will be held on July 26 to 30, will give jobseekers an opportunity to apply online to thousand of job openings all over the country.Â
What kind of jobs are available?
Job vacancies across different industries will be available during the online event, such as openings for call center agents, admin assistants, engineers, customer service representatives, system developers, and more. Even online teaching jobs will be available for interested participants to apply for.
Who can apply?
Anyone can apply! For the online teaching jobs, even undergraduate students can send in their applications. There will be openings for part-time positions, which will be ideal for current college students who want to score a side hustle while attending online classes.
How to apply?
The event will have a five-day run, with the first day specifically for Luzon-based jobs. The second day will be focusing on Visayas and Mindanao-based jobs. Day 3 is especially reserved for entry-level jobs, perfect for first-jobbers and fresh graduates. The fourth day will be for overseas opportunities while the fifth day is for government support and services. Applications will be done through chatbots and live chat features with the participating employers. All you have to do is to prepare the job-hunting essentials, like your resume, and browse through the openings to see which ones you'd like to try out. To participate in the Job to Cart event, just pre-register at jobstreet.com.ph/vcf-21.
