The Candy eds share what's on their table on Christmas Eve! What about yours?
![]() | My tita's homemade hot chocolate, slices of Christmas ham, and pandesal. I just realized that even though it's yummy, it's also what we eat on New Year's Eve. Hahaha! —Mimi, Managing Editor |
![]() | A whole LOT of food! Our Christmas spread usually changes every year, but the staples are sweet ham, queso de bola, and assorted pastries! :) —Angel, Assistant Features Editor |
![]() | The usual Christmas ham, quezo de bola, fruit salad, and cake (the bakeshop in our neighboring city has the best chocolate cake in the world!), plus my mom's yummy mac and cheese. We also have a bottle of red wine, but me consuming more than one glass always earns disapproving looks from my dad. Haha! —Marla, Assistant Lifestyle Editor |
![]() | My mom's signature lasagna is always the star of Christmas dinner. Then, there's a mix of all sorts of yummy food like barbecue, Christmas ham, queso de bola, and of course dinner rolls and hot chocolate. But our media noche fare is usually more bongga than noche buena. My mom believes you should have lots of food when you usher in the New Year. Haha! —Macy, Web and Mobile Producer |
![]() | I always prepare my home-made Ceasar Salad dressing every noche buena. The taste changes every year, for the better of course haha! We also have smoked ham, barbecue, fruits and cakes. :D—Roch, Web and Mobile Producer |
