How to Throw a 4th of July Party According to Taylor Swift
Independence Day weekend, which they celebrate on the 4th of July, just happened in the US. We've been busy stalking all our favorite celebrities' Instagram and Snapchat accounts all weeekend. But we've decided that if we want to get on someone's 4th of July party guest list, we choose Taylor Swift. Girl throws parties like no other. Don't believe us? Just check out the awesome snaps from her patriotic weekend with her friends and loved ones. Squad goals, y'all.
Step 1 Set the mood.
Of course you need to start a party with something fun like this barkada pic that just screams "Fourth of July!" And it helps to have people like Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, Empire's Serayah, and the HAIM sisters. NBD. P.S. This picture can also be captioned Stars and Stripes. Are we right or are we right? :P
Step 2 Make sure there's food.
You can totally just order in if you want, but nothing says comfort than food you actually made yourself! Plus, you can always get your friends to help you out, too.
Step 3 Take a group pic.
Remember the awesome occasion by immortalizing the moment in a photo. You can whip out your selfie stick, GoPro, or a camera on self-timer to make sure that everyone is in the shot!
Step 4 Make room for dessert.
What's a party without cake? Add sparklers for a more festive effect.
Step 5 Be silly with your bae.
Parties are meant to be fun! Let loose, goof around, and don't be afraid to just have a blast.
Step 6 Make sure everyone else has fun, too.
It's not just important that you have fun, you should also make sure your guests are having a great time, too.
Step 7 Dress for the occasion.
Tay's bestie Ed made sure to come in red. LOL! To match the flag, maybe? Either way, we approve of your sartorial choice, Mr. Sheeran. You keep doing you.
Step 8 Go matchy!
Having your friends sleep over so you can take the festivities well into the night? Be totally cheesy in twinsies onesies. Don't forget to take a photo to remember your #OOTN!
