Soju is an alcoholic beverage from Korea that became popular because of the Hallyu wave this green-tinted bottle is always offered in Korean barbecue restaurants and you can see this drink in most Korean dramas, too. Because of its popularity and versatility, it's also become a staple in households!
If you want to make a soju cocktail at home (that isn't soju + Yakult), we found an easy recipe that will delight any soju fan and coffee fan. It's time to make soju latte!
What is a soju latte?
Do you love drinking coffee in the morning and soju in the evening? You can have the best of both worlds with a soju latte, a coffee cocktail that's made with a combination of soju and coffee. This type of drink will surely keep your energy high at any gathering.
How to make soju latte:
To make the soju latte, you first have to prepare half a glass of your favorite coffee. You can work with brewed coffee then add sugar and milk (more sugar and milk if you prefer coffee on the sweeter, milkier side). An alternative is using your favorite canned latte, so you don't have to do all the preparation!
The suggested amount of soju you should add to your half-filled cup of coffee is two shots. It's best that you gradually add a shot, stir, and taste it afterward until you get that perfect balance of coffee and getting an aftertaste of the soju.
You can drink it on its own if you want a lukewarm cocktail, but this drink is preferably served with ice!
