Colors can actually contribute more than just aesthetics. It could have an effect on you and your lifestyle. 

  1. Red for power.

The good news is that red is a powerful color that can make you physically faster and stronger. We also can't help ourselves from rooting for the players wearing red, because the color makes us favor them more. But on the bad side, it can also represent danger and can cause alarm, so before you take a major exam, be sure not to look at anything red because it can lower your scores. (cracked.com)

The color yellow is considered a happy color that's cheerful and increases mental activity.
