Dining inside the car is considered to be part of the new normal especially if you're not totally comfortable with outdoor or indoor dining just yet. If you're looking for a place to treat yourself to tasty food and a change of scenery, you don't have to go too far. Head on over to Quezon City's Hackensack, a 1950s diner that serves burgers, hotdog sandwiches, wings, and rice meals you can enjoy inside the comforts of your car.

This drive-in's highly recommended items include '50s Cheeseburger (P240) which uses a 1/4-pound Angus beef patty, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and potato bun, and the Double '50s Cheeseburger (P350) version which uses a heavier half-pound Angus beef patty. Another bestselling hamburger they have is the Deluxe Cheeseburger (P240) which uses a 1/4-pound Angus beef patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and buns.

You can also check out the hotdog sandwich selection: Hackensack has a 10-Inch Beef Hotdog (P235) which uses a 10-inch beef frank, grilled onions, pickles, sauerkraut, and split potato bun. There's chicken on the menu, too: you may opt for the Buffalo Wings (P245) which comes with a sour cream dip.

What's awesome about Hackensack is that the place does have parking and customers who opt to dine inside the car are given food trays you can hang on your car window to serve as your dining table. If you prefer to have the car windows closed, you can simply just place the food trays on your lap or whatever space is available.
Hackensack is located at Devour Food Hub, 1216 E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City.
