The Kinds Of Friends You Surround Yourself With, According To Your Zodiac Sign
For some people, making friends is easy. Sometimes, though, no matter how hard you try, some people just won't vibe with you, and that's totally fine. Our zodiac signs often have a lot to say about the friends we make and company we keep along the way. Here are the kinds of friends each sign often keep by their sides:
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
An Aries is the definition of go lang nang go. They don’t dwell too much in thinking about whether they should try something, they just do it. Because of your kinetic nature, you’re often with friends that can keep up with all your shenanigans.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
People with Taurus as their zodiac sign can keep friendships for years. Yung kalaro mo diyan sa labas noong bata ka pa, friend mo sa Facebook hanggang ngayon. That is, Tauruses like to stick to the same things and people, so friends who can deal with their uncompromising nature vibe with them well. People who also like to indulge in the good things—be it through music, art, or food—are also good companies to keep for you.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Geminis are sociable creatures and can connect with all sorts of personalities. They’re always game to try new things and move from one trend to trend. Dalgona coffee suddenly a thing? You bet Geminis have tried doing it. When it comes to friends, they tend to go with ones who can keep a good conversation, are down to try the newest milk tea shop near school, or like to exchange opinions about the latest Netflix show.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Cancers are the type that don’t easily open up, even to friends. Still, they are loyal and stick close to people who are understanding of their different moods and are comfortable with not having to talk all the time.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leos are known for being really generous, but when it comes to attention, they like to keep it to themselves. Still, they’re one of the few who can bring all sorts of people together, which is why they’re often the ones who initiate hangouts and road trips in every friend group. They are loyal to friends who bring out the best in them and appreciate the little things they do for you.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Virgos are very careful about the friends they make. Once they find their people, they tend to stick with them instead of going out to make new ones. They tend to stick with friends who are comfortable to be with and complement their own mellow personality.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Libras value friendships a lot and would do anything for their barkada. They tend to stick to people who don’t mind calling the shots, especially ones who don’t get irritated when they answer “kahit saan” to the question “saan tayo kakain?” Because as long as their friends are happy with it, they honestly really don’t mind.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpios like to keep their circle small, and they’re often the ones making the calls in their friend group. People who are reliable and on the same wavelength as them are the kinds of company Scorpios tend to keep.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
There’s always something to learn and discover out there for the Sagittarius folks. If there’s a new restaurant down South that you want to try, or a if you suddenly feel like taking surfing lessons over at LU, you appreciate having kaladkarin friends to go on adventures with.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Capricorns can be good friends because they express affection through concrete actions instead of words. They’re reliable and responsible, but they also tend to be guarded. They often would surround themselves with people who have a good sense of balance between work and play.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
An Aquarius sign makes a good and trusty friend because of their love for helping people. They’re really sociable and would consider practically anyone their friend.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
It’s easy for a Pisces to make friends because they’re such caring and compassionate beings. They’re willing to put others first before their own selves. They’re pretty laidback and chill, and would probably surround themselves with friends who has the same taste in music as them.

Outdoors Danielle Flestado @artdkf | May 1, 2020 "I miss the outside world. The last time I went outside of our house was on my birthday. We just bought coffee across our village and went back home immediately. This painting made me feel that I'm in a field, just appreciating the beauty of God's creation. Can you imagine the green grass and pink flowers?"
When everything around you suddenly turns dark, the first thing we'd prolly do, as humans, is to find and grab anything that is closest and nearest to us. We'll hold onto them for as long as we can, trying to collect ourselves and gather courage to adjust our eyesights to the pitch black environment that's consuming us minute by minute. And then you'd hear nothing. Your sense of hearing would somehow go off after not seeing anything for quite awhile. You'll let loose. Cry. Panic. You'll be exhausted for fighting your way out. Then just when you're about to stop and give up, you're no longer afraid. There's only this deafening silence and pithole of darkness that's gonna eat you up alive. And surprisingly, you'll make a home out of it.
You'll make a home out of the darkness that when a ray of light suddenly hits you, you'll try to avoid it. You'll try to cover your eyes. You'll try to cover your ears from the voices trying to help you get out of it. You'll try to hide because your mind and body will go against your will to come out and live. Because the darkness that used to scare you, now comforts you in a way you thought has helped you survived life. And you'll try to live. Day by day. In the darkness. Not knowing where to go. Not knowing where to start. Not knowing who is with you. You will try to live until the darkness that once surrounds you is now within you. And everyday, it's gonna be a cycle of subtle torture. But let me tell you a secret. The darkness won't make you whole.
You'll be broken. And in those hair-like cracks, the light will stubbornly fight its way through until it warms you up. Until you realize to check the switch and turn it on. Until you allow other people to help you find your way back in the light. Until you realize you're ready to live in light again. There's a light at the end of this long and dreading tunnel. The only question that matters: will you let them in?
I always thought of life, like a bead where each piece makes it worth sewing together with other piece of beads to make a stronger bond and to create a beautiful result. Today, how do we bond well with different people especially this difficult time? As this day challenges us to a new normal, may we continue to bead along positively with our life.
