Wings, Please! FB User Shows Us How To Make Flavored Chicken Wings At Home
We know that aside from milk tea, mojos, and dalgona coffee, you guys looove chicken wings. And just in time, we chanced upon netizen Ralph Ting's chicken wings recipe compilation that he posted on Facebook, which already has over 60,000 shares as of writing. He also gave links to his recipe videos posted on his Mr. Tipid YouTube channel so you can easily follow the instructions.
Ralph’s flavored chicken wings recipes come at a perfect time when most people (including us!) miss eating out at our favorite chicken wing places. “I’ve been craving for Frankie’s or Sunrise Buckets and I know that a lot of people are craving too but there’s ECQ. So, I decided to make chicken wings with different flavors and posted them online to help those who want to make their own version,” he says.
Here’s your guide:
Fried Chicken Wings
Before proceeding with the flavors, you need to fry your chicken wings first!
Prep the chicken by putting in seasoning mix and ground pepper.
Then create the batter using flour, ice cold water, and seasoning mix.
Put your chicken in the batter and coat well.
Then dip your battered chicken into the flour. Coat well then fry in preheated oil until it's light golden brown.

Then comes the much-awaited part: adding flavor to your wings! Trust us, you’ll have loads of fun experimenting with these flavors.
Original Buffalo Chicken Wings
For starters, you can try this classic buffalo flavor. Ingredients include butter, hot wing sauce, cayenne powder (if you want a spicier version!), onion powder, garlic powder, and brown sugar.
Ralph suggests not to overcook the sauce. He prefers using Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Hot Wing Sauce so you can get the real spicy buffalo deal.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings
If you’re not a fan of spicy wings, then the buttery garlic parmesan-flavored wings can be your next pick!
Just gather your butter, parmesan cheese, grated garlic, chopped parsley, red chili peppers, salt, ground pepper, and seasoning mix to create this mouthwatering flavor.
Salted Egg Chicken Wings
Another contender is the salted egg flavor. OG chicken wings fans would know how its tangy taste and rich texture can leave you wanting for more.
To achieve this flavor, you’ll need mashed salted egg yolk, butter, chopped garlic, evaporated milk, seasoning mix, and brown sugar.
According to Ralph, it’s optional to add chili curry leaves if you want some citrusy hints.
Korean-Style Chicken Wings
Now this chicken wing flavor can go with your K-drama marathon. Korean-style chicken wings are known for its sweet, savory flavor.
You can achieve this using ketchup, honey, gochujang or red chili paste, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Ralph’s tip: Lessen the honey or sugar if you don’t like the sauce to taste too sweet. But it really depends on your preference.
Bonus: Blue Cheese Dip
So, you’ve got all the flavors but still want to go a little extra.
Ralph also shares his blue cheese dip recipe that involves mixing garlic and sour cream, fresh milk, mayo, blue cheese, hints of lemon, salt, and pepper. Ah, we can’t wait to eat!
