How about you? How were you able to handle your first day in college?

steph.jpg I remember being scared because I didn't know anyone in class. Luckily I was seated next to a really friendly girl, and to this day we remain friends. :) —Steph, Art Director
mimi.jpg We had a three-day orientation at Ateneo called Orsem so I already met my block mates and made some friends before school started. It made things easier because there were people I could hang out with on the first day. —Mimi, Managing Editor
angel.jpg I put on a smile and a friendly face and kept an open mind. I tried to talk to everyone in my block, and pretty soon, I was friends with all of them. :) —Angel, Associate Features Editor
marla.jpg My first day of college involved A LOT of walking under the harsh June sun, so I made sure I was wearing the right outfit. I wore comfy white sneakers, a cute new tank top, and my favorite pair of jeans. I was so glad I left the skirts and heels at home! :) —Marla, Associate Lifestyle Editor
macy.jpg I was lucky that I was seated beside someone I shared a few things in common with at my freshman orientation. We were both from Assumption, both lived in Katipunan, and best of all, we discovered we were blockmates! It was easier you to get around having someone with me, equally new and lost. —Macy, Web Managing Editor
roch.jpg We had an orientation in DLSU before school started so it was easy for me to get through the first day. It was so funny how we walked around the campus in one group. They said that it was a clear sign that we were froshies. Haha! :) —Roch, Web Staff Writer
dyan.jpg I didn't know anybody so I made sure to introduce myself to at least one person in every class. By the end of the day, I had a few newfound friends to have merienda-slash-dinner with. —Dyan, Web Staff Writer
