It wouldn't be a complete college experience if you didn't get to do research for your papers at least once. Every colle student who's ever done research papers knows the golden rule: cite your sources. And they would also be very familiar with the number one struggle when doing research: getting access to journal articles that could help them improve and support their research.
In an effort to help out those whose research gets hindered because of lack of access to scientific journals, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), through the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD), is granting the public access to journal articles on Elsevier, one of the leading publishers of thousand of scientific journals all around the world.
To get access to specific journals, all you need to do is to fill out DOST's Request Form here. The form will ask you to fill out basic information and contact details. You also have the option to log in the specific article you wish to download as well as your purpose for accessing it.
You may also visit DOST's website for more information.
