History of Centre for International Education British School

The international award-winning educator and former flight attendant Nelia Cruz Sarcol founded the CIE British School in 1987. “Teacher Nelia”, as they fondly call her, used the life cycle of a pearl as a guiding post for herself and her school. The international British school is organized into four divisions: Basic Education, Higher Education, Professional and Continuing Education, and Language Academy. Recognized by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, CIE is the only international school to authorize an examination center for Cambridge English Language Assessments. How to Apply to CIE British School

Interested applicants must first answer a CIE Admission Form and submit the following requirements:

For Local Students

1. Original Report Card or Form 138-A
2. NSO Certified Birth Certificate
3. Certificate of Good Moral Conduct from the previous school with honorable dismissal or transfer recommendation from the Principal and the Guidance Counselor
4. Two color photos (passport size) with light blue background
5. One color photo (passport size with light blue background) of all persons who are authorized to pick up the student (parents, legal guardians, nannies, and drivers)
6. Certificate of Recognition (for students with dual citizenship)

For International Students

1. Document duly issued by the Bureau of Immigration

• Student Visa for College Enrollees
• Special Study Permit for Pre-School, Grade School, or High School

1. Original Scholastic Records from previous school translated to English (if not in English) and duly legalized and authenticated by the Philippine Consulate located in the student applicant’s country of origin
2. Birth Certificate translated to English (if not in English) and duly legalized and authenticated by the Philippine Consulate located in the student applicant’s country of origin
3. Certificate of Good Moral Conduct from the previous school with honorable dismissal or transfer recommendation from the Principal and the Guidance Counselor
4. Two color photos with (passport size) light blue background
5. One color photo(passport size light blue background) of all who are authorized to pick up the student (parents, legal guardians, nannies, and drivers)

After submitting the requirements, there will be an orientation for the parents where they will receive the schedule of the interview. Once the interview for both the applicant and parents is accomplished, they are now required to pay for the applicant’s Placement Test. If the applicant passes the Placement Test, they will be up for a final evaluation.

As an international private school that offers high-quality education, you can expect their tuition fee to be on the ~pricey~ side. Their school fees range from ?400,000 to ?500,000 per trimester.
