Lyceum of the Philippines University - Manila
The Lyceum of the Philippines University was given an overall rating of 4 QS stars by the British university ranking system Quacquarelli Symonds. The university is one of the most reputable schools in the hospitality industry, with two of its programs receiving Centers for Excellence from CHED back in 2016. One of these programs is the Bachelor of Science in International Travel and Tourism Management (BS ITTM).Â
An international accreditation program, the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE), also has Lyceum of the Philippines University as one of its accredited members. The university remains the biggest member school in Asia with its four campuses offering Tourism and Hospitality programs.

Central Philippine University
Located in Iloilo, the Central Philippine University is one of the city’s only two higher education institutions that has been granted autonomous status by CHED. CPU offers a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BS-THM) and a Master in Business Administration - major in Tourism and Hospitality Management (MBA-THM). The latter received level IV accreditation recently, though it can only be taken by graduates of business degree programs.
The curriculum under the BS-THM program covers Sustainable Tourism, Macro and Micro Perspectives of Tourism and Hospitality, Travel Writing and Photography, and Agri Tourism, among others.
University of the Philippines - Diliman
The University of the Philippines - Diliman is the first Southeast Asian higher education institution to offer tourism as a four-year course. The BS Tourism program in the university is under the Asian Institute of Tourism, which also offers graduate studies in tourism.Â
The curriculum of BS Tourism in UPD-AIT includes courses in World Tourism, Tourism and Philippine Culture, Tourism Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism and Gender, and more.
University of Santo Tomas
Another accredited member of THE-ICE, the University of Santo Tomas is the first higher education institution in the country to receive five stars from the esteemed QS ranking system. Philippine Women’s College of Davao

De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde
The De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde’s (DLS-CSB) School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (SHRIM) is the only hotel school in the Philippines to receive a level IV accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU).
Under the SHRIM are two programs, namely the Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (BS-HRIM) and the Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management (BS-IHM), a double-degree program created with the Institut Vatel in France. The BS-HRIM has different specializations or tracks to choose from, one of them being the Travel & Tourism Management track.
