Some of the institutions in the University Belt are over 100 years old, and San Beda University is one of them. Aside from being a premier Benedictine institution that has survived through times of war, it is home to notable personalities in various industries including entertainment, business, and politics. Most of its alumni have also excelled in licensure exams such as former Supreme Court Associate Justice Florenz Regalado, who up to this day, holds the highest score in the Philippine Bar Exam. 

You can really tell that San Beda is intent on providing the students with better learning outcomes through their partnerships with other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) such as the American International University in Bangladesh and the College of New Celedonia in Canada, according to Times Higher Education (THE). 1. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

Are you an aspiring accounting professional who plans to pursue graduate programs in accounting, business, and law in the future? San Beda University ensures that students taking their BSA program are equipped with necessary technical knowledge for such fields. Aside from financial, managerial accounting, audit, taxation, and business law, subjects in Social Sciences and Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Theology, Filipino, English, Languages and Literature, Human Kinetics and National Service Training Program are also integrated in the program. In fact, SBU College of Law is recognized as a Center for Excellence by the Legal Education Board of the country. SBU’s AB Political Science, another program being offered at College of Arts and Sciences, can be your training ground for Law School. Taking AB Political Science will enable you to understand the different social and political issues of our times. By learning about political concepts, political behaviors, government policies, theories, and international laws and relations, you can evaluate how laws and policies can be further improved for the benefit of our society and its constituents. 3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing

With its 100% passing rate for first time takers in the 2022 Nursing Board Examinations, SBU College of Nursing was able to maintain its impressive 5-year passing streak. In taking their Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (BSN), you will be imbued with the values of compassion, competence, collaboration, community engagement, and cultural pluralism. Aside from preparing students for their Related Learning Experiences (RLE) training, the College of Nursing also takes pride in their continuous effort to learn about best practices that can further improve their instruction and assessment. ICYDK, San Beda University also offers BS in Information Technology under their new Manuel V. Pangilinan College of Computing Studies (MVP-CCS). If you seek to understand and develop software applications similar to those that we often use nowadays, including music streaming apps, you should consider studying Information Technology. Students who will take this course are expected to have good communication and collaboration skills since they will work in teams. Considering that there’s a rapid digital transformation in various industries and businesses, IT-related jobs are also in-demand.
