Assumption College is an all-girls autonomous higher learning private institution in the Philippines. Its history dates back to Spanish colonization when the sisters of the Religious of the Assumption came to the country to help pioneer women's education and impart a deep appreciation for teaching. A college department was added to the campus at Herran, Manila, before it later transferred to the second Assumption school at San Lorenzo Village in Makati after the previous establishment burned down.

Throughout the years, the institution continuously memorializes the passion and philosophy of St. Marie Eugenie, teaching its students the value of academic excellence, faith and responsibility, and social responsibility through transformative education. Assumption education also promises to nurture and embrace students’ creativity with an ability-based framework that pushes them to reach their maximum potential. Generations of Assumptionistas who became leaders in their respective fields can attest to this. Some of the distinguished names include Senator Grace Poe, founder of Bantay Bata 163 Regina Paz La’O Lopez, BDO chairperson Teresita Sy-Coson, principal designer and interior architect of National Museum Tina Periquet-Galicia, and founder and Managing Director of Steps Dance Studio Sofia Zobel Elizalde. If their impressive alumni aren’t enough to encourage you, the school also boasts top-notch facilities and offers good athletic programs that you might be interested in.
