Watching K-dramas and seeing all the pretty places they're set in makes you want to visit South Korea even more. From cafes to parks, there are so many places from K-dramas we'd like to add to our travel bucket list.

If you’ve been keeping up with Lee Min Ho’s latest K-drama The King: Eternal Monarch, you’re probably familiar with the mysterious bamboo forest where Lee Gon opens the portal between the two parallel worlds of Korea. The mysterious forest looks so cinematic on-screen, but if you’re a lover of the outdoors, it feels like it would be a good spot to get in touch with nature.

The Korea Tourism Organization shares that the forest is actually called Ahopsan Forest, and it’s located in 37-1, Midong-gil Cheolma-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan. It’s also a popular filming site! Other K-dramas who shot scenes in the mysterious-looking forest include 100 Days My Prince and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
