A mantra in Sanskrit means tool or instrument of thought. It can be a word or phrase that draws positive vibes, confidence and power to you. The mantra you create doesn't have to be religious and you don't need to chant it out loud like other people do. It can be short, funny, simple, or intense and long. It is up to you!

What is your goal? Do you want to remind yourself to always see the brighter side of things? Or do you want to tell yourself that everything will be a-ok?

Write down the mantra in your notebook, a bookmark, a Post-it or a post card where you can see it every morning or look at it in between class. Know the words by heart and repeat it the mantra to yourself when you're stressed or feel that things are getting out of control. Relish that positive feeling!
