A Taylor Swift Weekend

This weekend is going to be all about T-Swizzleâ€"whether or not you're going to the concert! We've got some ideas on how to make it fun just the same.

So you already know the concert is happening this Saturday (February 19) at the Araneta Coliseum. You already know that tickets are sold out. And if you're not watching (sniff!) or not one of the winners of our promo, then you're probably bummed. But no worries! We've rounded up a list of things you can do to make this weekend a Taylor Swift weekend, anyway!

Grab an old tee (maybe you can ask your big brother for one that he isn't using anymore so it's loose on you), go crazy with your markers and pop out the lenses of your giant sunglasses. Channel Taylor in her "You Belong With Me" video and dance around in front of your mirror. Plus points if you've got a cute neighbor who you can show flashcard messages from your bedroom window. If you're lucky, you'll have a good laugh and you'll find comfort that it's not just you stuck at home with no tickets to the concert.

Have Your Own Concert
Whether you do the singing or not (you can load up T-Swizzle's YouTube channel to see her videos), invite your friends and have a concert of your own in your living room! Prepare concert snacks like hotdogs, popcorn, and soda. Scream like Taylor is actually in front of you and make banners to hold up. Just make sure the parentals are cool with it—or else you might wake up your entire household with the ruckus you're making!

Go on a Tweet Fest
Load up your Twitter feed and check obsessively if any of your friends at the concert have posted photos. With the technology these days, even if you're not at the venue, it'll feel like you're there, anyway. Get excited when someone tweets what the set list is or when Taylor posts something about Manila. It's really a matter of how you look at it. Why mope when you can still turn it into something fun to do, right?
