In the first few pages, director Bill Condon and stars Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens (the Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston), and Josh Gad (Le Fou) reveal how the original Disney animation has affected them as viewers, fans, and actors.

There are also details, not just about Emma and Dan, but also the talented actors and actresses who portray the classic characters—the castle's staffers-turned-objects. Plus, they reveal some interesting details like the concept art, BTS photos, costume design, CGI technology, makeup and hair, and how the props are made!
