3 An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
When it comes to witty writing, who else to turn to but John Green? In his sophomore novel, An Abundance of Katherines, he tells us the story of Colin Singleton, a child prodigy who has a long list of girls who dumped him (19, to be exact) all named Katherine. On a road trip miles from home, Colin goes on a mission to figure out the the Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability—or why he got dumped so much. As long as you can ignore the math involved (yes, there is), An Abundance of Katherines is definitely one amusing read.
4 Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

However, when she discovers the existence of the arguably just as beautiful Etienne St. Claire just within proximity, she's charmed. Pick this book up and read an entertaining tale of a year's worth of near-misses and find out if it ends with a (French) kiss.
5 Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler
In this YA novel, Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket, author of A Series of Unfortunate Events, jsyk) tells the love story of Min and Ed through their breakup letter. The story opens when Min dumped a box of unexpectedly sentimental things at Ed's door as a way of dumping him. Although not exactly LOL funny, this book is humorous in a cruel, heartbreaking, kind of way.
6 Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
With her red curly hair and her quirky sense of style, Eleanor captured the heart of Park, the boy in the bus. And, with its clever narration, Eleanor and Park captured the heart of many readers. More than a smile on your face, this book is bound to give you a torrent of feels.
7 Will Grayson, Will Grayson by David Levithan and John Green
Will Grayson, Will Grayson tells the star-crossed tale of well, two individuals both named Will Grayson. With the Chicago city scape as its backdrop and the fabulous Tiny Cooper taking center stage, this book is humorous just as it is epic. Because when two clever authors like Levithan and Green decide to write a book together, you can be sure it's worth the shelf space.
