Humans of New York is based off a blog where the photographer takes photos of random and everyday people on the streets, accompanied by their stories. This is such a humanitarian project that started in 2010, and in 2014 the UN gave the photographer the chance to travel around the world on a goodwill mission.
Zoey Sugg is based in the UK and became internet-famous as a beauty guru. Because of her huge following, she used this to communicate to her followers, talking about anxiety, panic attacks, and other relatable topics in her YA fiction book.
This is a memoir of a boy's life, coming from small town beginnings to becoming an internet sensation. It's a coming of age story where Connor shares his wisdom for young adults in the digital era.
ICYDK, our favorite YA author, John Green, who you may have known as an author first, but is actually also a YouTuber! He and his brother try to educate high school students through Crash Course. He and his brother are also known as the VlogBrothers, with another channel of the same name. This is where the videos reach most of their audience because of having it relatable and personal with each of them exchange video blogs from each other. And because of these channels, and a lot more projects they've managed to do, they were able to reach a large viewing audience.
One more book on our list is The Sartorialist for its great success story. This is another blog to book story when the author just wanted to take photographs of people he met on the streets who he thinks looked great. Because of this blog, the author was known to be the most influential observer of street style that even TIME magazine named him one of the best design influencers from the top 100.
