In a world where well-known authors are publishing books that are practically flying off of the shelves, budding writers are struggling to make ends meet and finally make their big break. Constantly, painstakingly editing and re-editing their work to ensure that it is in its utmost state of perfection—only to be rejected time and time again by editors. While not the recurring situation for some, this is exactly where Wattpad comes in—a place where new authors can create and share stories to millions of people are the globe. Personally, this idea is what made me fall in love with Wattpad in the first place. Don't you just love the idea of reading an undiscovered work of art? All exquisitely brilliant, yet all tragically unknown... this is where serendipity performs its miracles. Here are 6 of the most promising books out of the thousands of undiscovered gems that I've found on Wattpad.

They quickly strike a deal and hit the road together—until they come across some wild unexpected detours and realize that they were carrying  more baggage than they originally thought.

  1. F.A.I.T.H.: A dorm, a delinquent, a girl by JoPRBooks

In a school built for only the youth of the country's elite, Rihanna Gesser struggles to keep herself on the down low as students consistently probe and threaten to expose who she really is. With her tattoos, dyed hair,  and mysterious air, everyone thinks that Rihanna is deliberately attempting to ruin the school's prestigious reputation—and there is nothing they despise more than an undeserving rat in their circle.

Little do they know however, that Rihanna has more secrets to hide than they could even begin to fathom. In a tale of death, broken promises, deceit, abuse, trauma, and wrong love, JoPRBooks has woven a brilliant tale with endless twists and turns that keep you hungry for more. F.A.I.T.H. is a definite must-read if you want a story that keeps you guessing and ultimately surprises you in the end.

  1. Breeder Nation by KaraMichelleBooks

  1. The Arena by baoxian23

"Kill or be killed." That's the only thing you should know once you're in The Arena.

Jodi was having the time of her life until she was abducted, taken away, and forced to fight with other terrified young women to the death.

A hyperrealistic tale of fighting for survival and struggling with choosing to simply die to end it all or to fight and eventually be freed from The Arena and in turn unearth the grisly underground operation. If you're the type of Candy Girl who can stomach a little violence and gore, then this is definitely a read for you!
