Just like our bedrooms, the wardrobe is one of the places that we visit on a daily basis. From getting ready in the morning or changing into our pajamas at the end of the day, dressing up is a part of our routine so it is only fitting that our closet space makes us happy. 1. Keep items accessible.

If you can't reach what you want to wear within seconds, chances are, you're going to forget about it eventually. Try storing your most-used items at eye level, less-used items below, and least-used items on the topmost shelf.

2. Organize by type of clothing.

Instead of sorting your clothes by color, you can start organizing them by type. This way it will be easier for you to find what you need rather than having to go through a pile of similar-colored pieces.

3. Make it personal.

Aside from coming up with an organizing system that fits your lifestyle, consider decorating your closet, too. Creating a moodboard filled with photos of your style icons and dream pieces is a great way to start!

4. Be resourceful.

Before spending good money on expensive bins and drawers, think twice about maximizing what you may already have at home. For example, you can use an umbrella stand to store odd items like yoga mats or try installing a cheap curtain rod where you can hang scarves.

5.  Make sure it smells good.

Avoid a kulob closet smell by giving it a sweet and refreshing boost. Consider using all-natural multitasking room sprays or fragrance diffusers to keep your space clean and fresh.
