We may not all admit it, but when we take photos on our phones, we usually set the frame to square to make it Instagram-ready. This form of social media is all the rage nowadays with more and more of us posting photos every day and hoping to garner likes. Need help taking the perfect Instagram photos? The next time you travel, here are 5 tips to consider for making sure you take the best photographs possible for Instagram.

Work on the composition of the photo.
The first thing you need to do is to make sure the composition of your photos is the best that it can be as framing and focal points are key in Instagram. The app has a handy grid tool you can make use of. Utilize the grid for framing your photos, and use intersecting lines to highlight focal points in the shot.

Change perspectives when taking pictures.
There are times when there’s something great you want to capture, but you can’t seem to get the right shot. When this happens, consider changing perspectives. Sometimes a new angle can make a better photo. Experiment with angles, and you might discover that the reason you can’t seem to get the perfect shot is because you are not thinking of alternative angles.
